APPLICATION PROCESS

After you decide on a dog or dogs you're interested in from those on our available dogs page, our adoption process begins with the submission of an application which can be filled out by following the link on the animal's page that you are interested in.

It will be reviewed by one of our volunteers. If certain and critical criteria is met, we will pass your application on to the foster. The foster will then contact you and make arrangements for your family to meet the dog, most likely at one of our weekly dog adoption events.

A home visit is also required for all of our adoptions. If you are local to the Toledo area, it will be performed by one of our volunteers. If you are long-distance, then we will need to make arrangements with a rescue group in your area. The processing of your application can take several days, so we ask for your patience.
